Job description

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated salesperson to join our team. As an Oshkosh Coil Spring salesperson, you will be responsible for selling our high-quality spring products to businesses across a wide range of industries. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals. Knowledge of springs and wire forms is a plus, but not required as we will provide training.

Responsibilities:

• Generating leads and develop new accounts within targeted markets.
• Giving sales presentations to a range of prospective clients.
• Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.
• Travels throughout assigned area to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders, or talks with customers by phone/email.
• Follow up and close out sales leads and RFQ’s
• Works with all facets of the sales and production team to ensure a quality lead pipeline.
• Focus new business development efforts on specific targeted markets identified by leadership to reach sales goals.
• Responds to questions and concerns from customers and ensures customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics, or related field.

Proven experience in sales.

• Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
• A commitment to excellent customer service.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Competency in Microsoft applications including word, excel, and outlook.
• Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently as a part of a team.
• Experience with industrial sales or manufacturing field.
• Ability to work approximately 80%-90% in our Oshkosh, WI office and 10%-20% of the time traveling.
• Must have reliable car, good driving record and insurance.
